LM 258
Based on Quad Operational Amplifier designs, these dual operational amplifiers offer low power consumption, a wide common mode input voltage range, and compatibility with single or split supply operation. The LM258 series is equivalent to half of an LM224. In single supply applications, they outperform standard operational amplifiers by operating within a voltage range of 3.0V to 32V with one-fifth the quiescent current of the MC1741 per amplifier. Additionally, their common mode input range includes the negative supply, eliminating the need for external biasing components, and their output voltage range includes the negative power supply voltage.
